Isabelle Wallace

Advisor, Indigenous Affairs

Isabelle is a member of the Madawaska Maliseet First Nation (MMFN) in New Brunswick. She is currently working as a Primary Care nurse in Nunavik with the Inuit. Isabelle is passionate about Indigenous health, public health, community nursing, primary care, health equity and politics. She was nominated as one of 200+ Francophone Women Leaders in Global Health and one of Canada’s 150 Nurses for Canada. She is a former public servant (Indigenous Services Canada) and a former Lead Analyst in First Nations health data (New Brunswick Health Council).

Isabelle holds a Bachelor’s in nursing degree from the Université de Moncton and Master’s in nursing degree from the University of Ottawa.
